IRIS, Ltd. is an independently owned firm, dedicated to providing complete risk management services to  government entities and commercial enterprises.

We focus on protecting and preserving corporate assets and eliminating unnecessary insurance costs for our clients. We started business in 1975 and operate throughout a trading area spanning fifteen time zones. Before focusing exclusively on Risk Management, we had many years experience as international insurance brokers, providing service to a wide variety of manufacturing and service industries. This background enables us to create insurance and self-insurance programs that become an integral part of the client’s risk management program. Our core team is enhanced on as as-needed basis by experts in a variety of professional disciplines; finance, engineering, construction, and the law.

Some of our major assignments have included work for lending banks in Switzerland and New York, agencies of the City and County of Los Angeles, and several agencies of the Government of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. We have designed and managed owner controlled insurance programs up to $230 million total contract price, organized complete insurance programs for previously uninsured entities, and designed and managed specific cost-reduction projects, such as organizing selection processes for insurance brokers, appraisers and other professionals. The scope of our work has covered air and seaports, educational and financial institutions, hospitals, and public utilities. We have also organized post-loss recovery programs and participated in claims settlement negotiations and litigation with insurance underwriters involving both material damage and recovery of lost revenues.
